Family workshop: Supernatural Power
Termine:
Sunday, 10/19/2025, 14:30
Together with Irene Fritz from the Weiden Youth Art School, you and your family can immerse yourself in the world of ceramics for two hours.
Fireproof and malleable, thousands of years old and suitable for space travel. The redesign of the International Ceramics Museum, or IKM for short, puts one of the oldest materials in the world back in the spotlight.
On the occasion of the “refreshed” opening weeks, there will be a workshop for families in the museum studio next Sunday, 19 October from 2.30 to 4.30 pm, which invites you to work with clay and create fantastic figures under the motto “Supernatural Power”. The current special exhibition by artist Malwine Stauss provides ideas for this. Her powerful creatures inspire visitors to find their own forms for
figures of all kinds and to showcase the family as superheroes. During a short tour through the history of ceramics, you can also get to know the museum in a new way.
Admission is free and the workshop is free for the whole family.
Registration is possible at the youth art school on 0961/48027963 or by mobile phone at 01715344052 and on the Internet at www.kulturwerkstatt-info.de
