Status of compliance with the requirements
The online portal is compliant with the BayEGovV.
The www.ikmweiden.de website was launched on Oct. 12, 2025. Its implementation reflects the requirements of the Bavarian E-Government Regulation (BayEGovV); the designers were advised on how best to test and realize digital accessibility.
The website includes information pages on the museum in easy-to-read language.
Since 2025, information on all exhibitions has been available in easy-to-read language.
Visitors can toggle between English and German captions for all images.

Enforcement procedure
If you do not receive a reply to your remarks on accessibility within six weeks, you can submit an application to the Bavarian State Office for Digitization, Broadband and Surveying (LDBV, the enforcement agency responsible) that the website’s compliance with accessibility requirements be reviewed. LDBV will then examine whether the website operator needs to take relevant measures.
