Die Neue Sammlung is one of the world’s oldest and most important museums of 20th and 21st century applied arts and design. While the Weiden satellite focuses exclusively on ceramics, the main building in Munich’s Pinakothek der Moderne features the entire field of design and applied arts. The collections cover furniture, glass, metal, textiles, jewelry, graphic design, industrial design, and many other areas, too.
